A little planning goes a long way, and no one can stress this more than your Club Wyndham Management team. They are here to help owners get the most out of their ownership — and into the resorts they want. Here are a few booking tips straight from your Club Wyndham experts.

Q. How can I get a reservation at one of the more popular destinations?

The earlier you book, the more availability you’ll find and the more choices you’ll have for your dream vacation. For your home resort, you can take advantage of your Advance Reservation Priority booking window 13 months prior to your arrival date. For all other locations, you can book up to 10 months in advance using the Standard Booking Window.

Q. What will happen to my points if I have to cancel my reservation on short notice?

Before the new Points Protection Program launched, all points used to make a reservation would be forfeited if it was canceled 14 days or less from check-in. Now, with Points Protection, you can avoid having to forfeit your points in the event of a last-minute cancellation. It is a one-time purchase per reservation that can be added to new and existing reservations (including guest reservations) at least 15 days prior to your check-in date. When you cancel, the points used for the reservation along with the housekeeping credits will be returned to their original Use Year.

Q. I booked a reservation and am unable to go. Can I send a family member instead?

Yes! Guest Confirmations allow your friends and family to take advantage of a reservation where you will not be personally checking in. And each calendar year, you are awarded Guest Confirmations based on your level of membership.
