From the moment you step inside the Holiday Rewind Suite, you will be transported into a cozy, colorful living room straight out of the late ’90s — wood paneling, retro wallpaper, festive tinsel, and a classic tree with all the trimmings. 

A vintage-style television and a stack of VHS holiday movies invite you to settle in for a movie marathon, while the separate bedroom channels a quintessential early-2000s teen’s time capsule, complete with retro posters, a lava lamp, and a CD player loaded with holiday music.

At the heart of it all is a kitchen made for hot cocoa and popcorn nights, because some of the best holiday memories are still made standing around the counter together.

Cue The “I Remember That!”

From the funny, framed family Christmas photos lining the wallsto the mug tree in the kitchen, no detail is too small in this trip back to 1999. Wish-list-worthy toys from the era spark a few “remember when” moments, vintage board games invite some old-school competition, and a wall of holiday cards brings back the tradition of sending seasonal greetings via snail mail.

Tucked into the hallway is a playful surprise: an acrylic landline phone allowing guests to listen in to the Holiday Rewind Hotline, where they’ll hear from Santa and a few other surprise callers.  Pick up the receiver for a trip down memory lane before settling back in for the night.

Every guest receives a stocked basket of nostalgic lunchbox snacks and a disposable camera to document the stay without filters, retakes, or instant uploads, along with a Club Wyndham-branded virtual pet keychain and a holiday sticker sheet inspired by the collecting and trading culture of the time.
