Travel Insurance* helps protect your trip — prior to, while in-transit, and when you’re on vacation — covering up to eight travelers. You can receive monetary reimbursement for lost points, flights, car rental, activities, and other prepaid, non-refundable expenses if your trip is canceled or interrupted for a covered reason.

With Points Protection, your points are returned to their Use Year even in the event of a last-minute cancellation. This means that you can cancel a reservation less than 15 days prior to check-in without losing your points — even up to your check-in day. If you’d like to add Points Protection to an existing reservation, you may do so online up to 15 days prior to check-in.
