Vacation Starters: Depositing Points
As a Club Wyndham owner, your points are your vacation currency — and they pack some serious vacation power. You get a set amount every Use Year to spend on bucket list-worthy getaways. But if you can’t swing a vacation during that Use Year, don’t worry. You can deposit your points into a future Use Year so they don’t expire.
Whether you’re unable to travel or you’re saving up for a future adventure, the Points Deposit Feature allows you to roll over all, or a portion, of your current Use Year’s points into the next Use Year or two Use Years from the deposit date. This handy feature means that you preserve any extra points, allowing you to take an even bigger vacation later. You can deposit your points either online or over the phone by calling the Vacation Planning Center at 855-670-0758.
Pro Tip: The higher your level of ownership, the more time you have to deposit your leftover points from your current Use Year. Here’s a closer look at the various deposit windows.
Standard: Points may be deposited within the first three months of your current Use Year.
VIP Bronze:Points may be deposited within the first four months of your current Use Year.
VIP Silver:Points may be deposited within the first six months of your current Use Year.
VIP Gold:Points may be deposited within the first nine months of your current Use Year.
VIP Platinum:Points may be deposited anytime during your current Use Year.
VIP Founders:Points may be deposited anytime during your current Use Year.
One important thing to note is that depositing your points is a final transaction, and once those points have been deposited, they will expire at the end of the Use Year selected and are not eligible to be deposited again. So be sure and be strategic. Think about which year you’d realistically want to plan a big bucket list vacation blowout for the whole crew, then deposit accordingly.
