Canceling A Reservation
Life happens. Plans change. And sometimes you have to cancel that vacation you’ve been looking forward to. Luckily, you’ve got a flexible cancellation policy in place, just in case.
Canceling 15 Days Or More Prior To Check-In*
If you need to cancel your reservation 15 days or more prior to check-in, the points used for the reservation will be returned to the Use Year from which they came and will retain all of their original benefits.
*Cancellations must be made by 11:59 p.m. ET on the 15th day in order for points to be returned.
Canceling 14 Days Or Less Prior To Check-In
If you need to cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to check-in, the points used for the reservation will be forfeited.
For a reservation made within 15 days or less prior to check-in, you have 24 hours to cancel your reservation without forfeiting your points.
For a reservation made the same day as check-in, you must cancel by 11:59 p.m. ET to avoid points forfeiture.
If you need to cancel your reservation, you can do so online or by calling the Vacation Planning Center at 800-251-8736.
Canceling your vacations is a bummer. Be sure to reschedule for another bucket list trip soon.
If Points Protection has been purchased for your reservation, you have until the day of check-in (up to 11:59 p.m. ET) to cancel your reservation without forfeiting your points.
When canceling a reservation that was booked with rented points and/or purchased housekeeping credit(s), in accordance with the cancellation policy, a refund will be processed back to the original source of payment. This also includes reservations made through Wyndham Club Pass.
When canceling a reservation that was booked with borrowed points, in accordance with the cancellation policy, the points will be returned to the Use Year from which they were borrowed. This also includes reservations made through Wyndham Club Pass.
If your original reservation was modified to add more nights, the cancellation policy will be based on the new check-in date. If a reservation is modified within 15 days of check-in, the same-day grace period does not apply (unless Points Protection was added to the reservation).
Club Pass reservations that require taxes collected at the time of booking are always refunded, regardless of when the reservation is canceled.
Currently, it is not possible to cancel partial nights on a reservation.
Cancellation of a reservation that was modified to add more nights will result in the entire reservation being canceled.
