A Championship Week To Remember

Wyndham Championship week was filled with triumphant moments on the green. Michael Brennan won the 87th Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, finishing 22-under par and earning a three-stroke victory. The 24-year-old closed with a final-round score of 64, highlighted by five consecutive birdies on the front nine, to secure his second PGA TOUR title. The win earned Brennan a spot in the FedEx Cup Playoffs and made him the fifth Wake Forest alum to win the Wyndham Championship.

The tournament also recognized the 2026 Wyndham Championship Promotion winners from Sales & Marketing and Resort Operations, who received exclusive course access, special experiences, and networking opportunities throughout the week. While players competed, fans enjoyed unique opportunities to engage with the tournament, their favorite Travel + Leisure brands, and support meaningful causes in the local community.

Brands Bringing Experiences to Life

Across the course, Travel + Leisure brands gave fans a variety of ways to engage beyond the action on the fairways.

Club Wyndham brought back Club Wyndham Beach, a Daytona Beach-inspired fan experience featuring a NASCAR-themed sand sculpture celebrating the brand’s long-standing relationship with Legacy Motor Club. Nearby, guests relaxed at the Club Wyndham Sand Bar while taking in the tournament action and live sandsculpting demonstrations. Throughout the week, racing legends Richard Petty, Jimmie Johnson, and John Hunter Nemechek made appearances, allowing fans to connect with some of the sport’s biggest names.

Making its tournament debut, Margaritaville Vacation Club’s Paradise transformed the seventh hole into a tropical escape complete with frozen drinks, music, giveaways, and laidback island vibes.

Sports Illustrated Resorts brought energy to the ninth green with the Icons Lounge, where guests tested their skills on an interactive golf simulator, competed for prizes, and enjoyed food and beverages.

Armed Forces Vacation Club returned with its Military Outpost, creating a welcoming space for military members and their families to gather and connect throughout the tournament.

Community Impact Takes Center Stage

Beyond the fan experiences and on-course action, the Wyndham Championship continued its long-standing commitment to supporting communities across central North Carolina.

Through the tournament’s philanthropic platform, Wyndham Championship Fore! Good, organizations came together to create meaningful change across the region. Organizations including the First Tee – Triad, Backpack Beginnings, Forsyth Backpacks, Out of the Garden Project, and United Way of Greater High Point received support to further their missions of serving local communities.

The spirit of giving back was also reflected during Executive Women’s Day, where Kim Marshall, Chief Human Resources Officer, joined fellow leaders for a conversation about mentorship, leadership development, and creating opportunities for future generations of talent. Attendees also heard from Donna Orender, founder and commissioner of The Upshot League, who shared insights on leadership, connection, and empowering others through sports.

From championship golf and memorable fan experiences to meaningful community impact, the Wyndham Championship once again demonstrated the power of bringing people together around a shared purpose.
