Take Your Bucket List Offline

Join in on National Day of Unplugging, a life/tech balance initiative encouraging Americans to put down the phone, turn off the screens, and spend some quality time detoxing from devices. For 24 hours, from sundown-to-sundown on March 5-6, 2021, trade in your time online for connections and activities offline.

According to a survey conducted by nationaltoday.com:

  • 3 in 4 Americans spend 3+ hours a day looking at a screen.
  • Women spend more time on their devices than men do.
  • 35% of Americans say that when they have down time, they spend it on their device.
  • 58% of Americans say they typically spend the most time on their phones while in bed, either when they wake up in the morning or before going to sleep at night.
  • 76% of Americans spend the most screen time on their phones, compared to a computer (17%) or tablet (7%).
