NASHVILLE DESTINATION GUIDE
Nashville 3-Day Itinerary
As one of the south’s best cities and the capital of country music, Nashville offers plenty to see, do, and sing along to. From the bright lights and live music of Lower Broadway, to the iconic landmarks and vibrant culinary scene, Nashville is a cultural and musical metropolis that’s perfect for a weekend of exploring. This three-day itinerary hits all the high notes of Music City.
Day 1: Music Stages
Morning Fuel up for a day of exploration with buttery biscuits at Biscuit Love. The popular local spot offers tasty made-from-scratch biscuits and breakfast sandwiches that put a creative spin on the southern staple.
Afternoon Discover the heartbeat of the Music City at the Grand Ole Opry, “country’s most famous stage” and Nashville’s most popular attraction. Enjoy an immersive theater experience and behind-the-scenes looks on a guided backstage tour that celebrates the rich history of the country music industry.
Evening Experience the magic of the Ryman Auditorium, a National Historic Landmark and the launching pad for countless country music careers. On a self-guided tour, uncover stories of musical legends who performed on the Ryman stage during its Opry-era heyday.
Day 2: Bites & Brews
Morning Explore some of Nashville’s neighborhoods — like Hillsboro Village and East Nashville — to discover the local side of the city. Roam the half-mile stretch of 12South to discover unique boutiques, dining spots, and bakeries. Don’t miss grabbing a homemade doughnut at Five Daughters Bakery or snapping a souvenir photo in front of the “I Believe in Nashville” mural.
Afternoon Embark on a beer-tasting adventure and explore what’s fermenting around town. Nashville’s original craft brew house, Yazoo Brewery, offers to-go beer and tastings in its taproom overlooking the Cumberland River. Or, grab a growler-to-go from Black Abbey Brewery or Jackalope Brewing Company to enjoy back at your suite.
Evening Treat yourself to a taste of Nashville’s food scene at an innovative, chef-driven restaurant. Etch, Husk, Butcher & Bee, and 404 Kitchen are favorites among locals and visitors alike.
Day 3: Art & Architecture
Morning Roam the grounds of the Cheekwood Estate. You’ll meander through an impressive arboretum, a woodland trail dotted with modern and contemporary outdoor sculptures, and a dozen different gardens.
Afternoon Nashville is the hometown of hot chicken, so no trip is complete without trying this spicy staple. At Hattie B’s, a no-frills establishment that helped put hot chicken on the map, fiery food fans can dare to try the “Shut the Cluck Up,” the highest of the heat levels. Wash it down with sweet tea and a side of southern greens, pimento mac and cheese, or creamy coleslaw.
Evening Head to the Parthenon in Centennial Park, a full-scale replica of ancient Greece’s original temple. By day, it serves as an art museum — but visit in the evening to appreciate the impressive exterior architectural details all lit up.
