1. Disney Springs
Disney Springs has something for everyone. Try the Pan-Asian cuisine at Morimoto Asia or the dry-aged and classic cuts at modern steakhouse STK Orlando. The Polite Pig offers wood-fired smoked meats, along with Southern comfort side dishes and an extensive bourbon bar. Be sure to save room for a sweet treat from Sprinkles.

2. Restaurant Row
Restaurant Row” is a stretch of Sand Lake Road known for delicious dining. In The Milk District (named for its T.G. Lee Diary factory), grab a hearty burrito at Gringos Locos, sample delicacies at Stasio’s Italian Market, and sip a pint at Sideward Brewing. Get your street food fix at Á La Cart, an indoor/outdoor dining venue with a collection of ever-changing mobile food vendors and 15 rotating taps.

4. Mills 50

Just north of downtown is Mills 50, an eclectic urban district featuring several authentic Vietnamese restaurants (try Pho 88), as well as other ethnic eateries like Black Rooster Taqueria, Hawkers Asian Street Fare, and Black Bean Deli. Fuel up at Java Js Coffeehouse or Lineage Coffee Roasting and wind down at Quantum Leap Winery.

5. Park Avenue

In the heart of Winter Park, this bustling avenue has many restaurants with outdoor seating, providing plenty of ambiance and people-watching. Using only the freshest local ingredients and seasonal flavors are two popular local restaurants. The Briarpatch is an iconic brunch destination serving up foodie delights like Raspberry Brie Fench Toast. And down the street, Prato specializes in Italian comfort food, with its signature dish, the Mustard Spaghettini.

1. Wekiwa Springs State Park
Jump into the crystal-clear waters of the Wekiwa River at Wekiwa Springs State Park. Just 45 minutes from Orlando, this spring-fed oasis offers a variety of outdoor activities including canoeing and kayaking. Paddle between several different points of interest ranging in distance from 1 mile to 10 miles.

2. Blue Springs State Park
Cool off in a natural spring, where the water is 72 degrees year-round. A popular spot for tubing, fishing, and kayaking is Blue Springs State Park. Take a two-hour narrated boat tour along the historic St. Johns River or rent a kayak or canoe and travel down the beautiful Blue Spring Run. Keep an eye out for manatees!

3. Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Rides
Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Rides offers adventures through the Florida Everglades’ headwaters on six-seater boats small enough to venture into the narrow backwaters. The captain provides a fascinating narration as you look for wildlife. Headsets are provided and tour lengths vary from one to two hours.

4. Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour
For a leisurely boat ride through a chain of tranquil lakes, the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour is one of Orlando’s hidden gems. One-hour tours are narrated by an expert guide. Travel the narrow canals and view local wildlife, lush Florida foliage and beautiful lakefront estates on an 18-passenger pontoon boat.

5. Lake Eola Park Swan Boats
Downtown Orlando’s Lake Eola has been home to a large swan population since 1922. Join the local birds on the lake by renting a pedal-powered swan boat. Get some great views of the downtown skyline and iconic Orlando fountain. Boats seat up to five people and are available on a first come, first served basis.

1. Canaveral National Seashore
A quick day trip from Orlando, Canaveral National Seashore features the longest span of undeveloped public beach along Florida’s East Coast. Spend the day exploring the sandy shores, coastal hammock, pine flatwoods, lagoon, and offshore waters.

Race to the finish line at Toboggan Racers, then make your way to Summit Plummet, one of the tallest, fastest free-fall body slides in the world. Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park’s Cross Country Creek is perfect for taking a break in a lazy river — except this one winds through a polar-themed paradise.

4. Universal’s Volcano Bay
Explore the Universal's Volcano Bay centerpiece volcano, Krakatau (kra-kuh-TAU) — which stands 200 feet above the park. Plunge into the pool below on the Kala & Tai Nui drop slides alongside a friend in these intertwining tubes. Then chill out in the winding river or lounge in a pool chair.

5. Discovery Cove Orlando
If you're looking for a lazy day of hanging around by the pool and swimming with tropical fish, Discovery Cove is the spot for you. Relax on the beach, float along Wind-Away River, and splash in Serenity Bay. Snorkel with tropical fish in The Grand Reef or spend some time with the flamingos at the Flamingo Mingle.

Golf For All Skill Levels

1. Topgolf
Whether you’re a golf pro or newbie, the Topgolf attraction offers a family-friendly outing for all levels. Challenge your crew to one of many games focused on accuracy, distance, and consistency — there’s even an Angry Birds game where you score points by knocking down structures and defeating the pigs.

2. Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf
A longtime Orlando treasure, Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf is a collection of two 18-hole miniature golf courses complete with pirate ships, waterfalls, and tricky putting drills. Take your pick of the Captain’s Course or Blackbeard’s Challenge — you can even play through both with the 36-Hole Adventure option.

3. Hollywood Drive-In Golf
Movie buffs can head to Hollywood Drive-In Golf at Universal CityWalk Orlando and partake in a single-feature (18 holes) or double-feature (36 holes) on the family-friendly, classic drive-in move inspired miniature golf courses: “The Haunting of Ghostly Green” and “Invaders from Planet Putt Putt.”

4. Walt Disney World Golf
Golf lovers are spoiled for choice at Walt Disney World Golf where you can play one (or more) of four challenging courses: Palm, Magnolia, Lake Buena Vista, and Oak Trail. Don’t have time for a full game? Play a 9-hole package or try out the FootGolf 9-hole course, a seriously fun combo of soccer and golf.

5. Falcon’s Fire Golf Club
Consistently ranked as one of Central Florida’s best public courses, golfers who are serious about their game can’t miss a round at Falcon’s Fire Golf Club. With four sets of tees to choose from and pristine grounds throughout, avid golfers of all levels will enjoy this Rees Jones-designed championship course.
