This popular living history museum allows visitors of all ages to see what it was like in Colonial times. Actors in full costume depict what daily life was like, and this historic area also boasts other attractions like museums and gardens, most of which are open. Explore the Governor’s Palace, Capitol, and Courthouse at your own pace. These are all open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Watch experts at their craft. Five trades are open at the Carpenter’s Yard, Weaver, Brickyard, Colonial Garden, and the Public Armoury.

Mead is an ancient drink made by fermenting honey, and Silver Hand Meadery is the perfect place to try it. Their shop is open, and tasting rooms must be reserved in advance.

Copper Fox Distillery

Copper Fox Distillery makes craft spirits, specializing in whisky. Distillery tours are on hold, but the store is open and offering tastings and cocktails with outdoor and limited indoor seating.
