Booking your vacation in advance is the best way to get the resort and destination that you want, but life is unpredictable. That’s why you have a flexible cancellation policy and great owner benefits to help you keep your points where they belong — in your account.

You can cancel a reservation online or by calling the Vacation Planning Center at 800-251-8736.

Canceling 15 Days or More Prior to Check-In*

If your reservation is canceled 15 days or more prior to the check-in date, then the points used for the reservation will be returned to the Use Year from which they came and will retain all of their original benefits.

*Cancellations must be made by 11:59 p.m. ET on the 15th day in order for points to be returned.

Canceling 14 Days or Less Prior to Check-In

If your reservation is canceled 14 days or less prior to the check-in date, then the points used for your reservation will be forfeited.

Last-Minute Reservations

If you are making a reservation 15 days or less prior to check-in, then you have 24 hours to cancel your reservation without forfeiting your points. 

When booking a reservation for same-day check-in, the reservations must be canceled prior to day of check-in by 11:59 p.m. ET to avoid forfeiting your points.

Points Protection

If Points Protection has been purchased for your reservation, then you have until the day of check-in (up to 11:59 p.m. ET) to cancel your reservation without forfeiting your points.

Rented Points and Housekeeping Credits 

If you cancel a reservation that was booked with rented Club Wyndham points or Housekeeping Credits and the cancellation is in line with the cancellation policy, then you will receive a refund to the original source of payment. This also includes reservations made through Wyndham Club Pass.
