Draw a bubble bath, light a few candles, and play the sound of ocean waves on your phone. Take it a step further with DIY treatments — an egg yolk hair mask, sugar and olive oil for chapped lips, or a coffee-ground skin exfoliant.

Create clues for ordinary indoor objects (ex: “I have four legs, but don't have feet. I come in handy when it’s time to eat.” Dining table.) Print the clues and put them around the house so one leads to another. Don’t forget a prize at the end.

Round up blankets, sheets, and couch cushions to build a fort. Clothesline and chairs can be used to prop up the ceiling, with chip clips and rubber bands as fasteners. Unroll your sleeping bags, turn out the lights and stream a movie.
