Day 1: Sights
Morning Start your day with gratitude at the 9/11 Memorial. Although the museum is currently closed, the memorial is a powerful place of remembrance and reflection.
Afternoon Remember your walking shoes as you stroll along the Highline. The views of the skyscrapers, the shops with local artistries, and the small restaurants along the way make for quite an interesting afternoon.
Evening After all that walking, take an elevator up to the Empire State Building. From epic sunset views to an all-access private tour complete with snacks and beverages, this experience is one for the books.
Day 2: Wildlife
Morning With more than 265 acres of adventure and 6,000 species of animals — including the American alligator, Asian elephant, California sea lions, and zebras — the Bronx Zoo is sure to wake up your wild side.
Afternoon From people watching to exquisite dining, Grand Central Terminal is the next stop. This brick jungle is always a great spot to watch people roam like clockwork. Some of the restaurants and bars are now open, including The Campbell Bar and Prova Pizzabar.
Evening Head to Central Park for a new experience of outdoor wildlife. From snapping turtles and swans to wood ducks and more than 280 different species of bird, Central Park is flourishing with animals — just remember to social distance from them, too!
Day 3: Outdoors
Morning Be one of the first to hop on the Staten Island Ferry. With views of the Statue of Liberty, this ferry should be one on your bucket list. The best part? It’s free!
Afternoon Head up to The Rooftop at Pier 17 for an incredible escape — complete with cocktails and amazing skyline views. It’s the perfect social distancing spot to play yard games and dine in a safe way with your closest family and friends.
Evening Finish your trip with a walk through Times Square. This classic stop is a great way to buy some souvenirs from the local shops, or from your favorite brand-name stores. Don’t forget to take a look inside Hershey’s Chocolate World and marvel at the large amounts of treats you’ll find.
