Autumn’s Arrival: Exciting New Web Features

October has several highly anticipated new features unveiling on your owner website. This season we’re brewing some treats which will make your vacation planning even more dynamic from start to finish.

Bonus Time Reservations

Looking for a cash option to create your dream vacay or staycation? Look no further than Club Wyndham Bonus Time — now when booking vacations within 14 days of arrival at Club Wyndham resorts, you can complete an entirely cash purchase with your credit card either online or by phone with a Vacation Guide.

Waitlists Are Getting Smarter

Now you can opt in to receive an SMS text message to alert you to a waitlist match. Using the same waitlist request process, you’ll now see a new field for entering a mobile phone number. Smartphone or flip phone, so long as your device can receive text messages and is a U.S.-based phone number, you are eligible to opt in for this new way to keep track of your upcoming vacation plans. Standard messaging rates may apply.

New Online Search Options

Two enhancements to your resort search in one update! Use flexible search to research potential travel options based on length of stay from the preset list (weekend, number of nights, a full week stay, etc.) or choose a preferred month of stay. Once you select your destination/resort and dates, toggle the new “+/- 3 nights from date range” checkbox to search for flexible vacation options with greater clarity than the prior “My dates are flexible” checkbox. Compare potential dates and available suites to craft the perfect getaway for you and your loved ones with confidence.

Need to come back later? Pick up where you left off easier than ever with your recent search history now available when you return to the resort search bar on ClubWyndham.com. Mobile device, tablet, or desktop, it doesn’t matter. Your most recent destination and/or resort search options will re-populate automatically. Click on the line to begin searching anew for your next self-care opportunity staying at your Club Wyndham resorts.

More Ways To Modify Nights

Changing circumstances occur and sometimes you need to modify your vacation plans. In addition to the existing ability to add nights to your stay, you can now also remove up to three nights on the beginning or end of your reservation, based on availability.

Modify nights just upgraded, and better yet, adding and removing nights can be completed in the same transaction without an additional reservation transaction required. Keep your investment of time and points safe from the unexpected by adding Points Protection during the modification process in just a few clicks. The normal booking and cancellation rules still apply, so you have up until 15 days from the date of arrival to complete these adjustments.

Not all reservations will be able to be modified to remove nights, but you will still be able to add nights. These reservation types include:

Existing reservations made prior to the launch of this feature
Reservations using Bonus Time
Reservations using points rental
Reservations using borrowed points
Club Pass reservations that have TOT

Additional Search Filters

There are now more ways to refine your search and discover your best matches. With this update, you must be logged in for full access to all features. When searching for available resorts, enter a location in your request to access filters and indicate your preferences. When a larger number of options are available based on your criteria, the “Show More” button will appear automatically, providing additional ways to fine-tune your search. Explore on-site amenities such as pools, beach access, casual dining, lazy rivers, hot tubs, sports/outdoor games, laundry facilities, and more. Select one or more options to quickly find resorts which meet your needs.

The same approach applies to nearby activities, including adventure sports, zoos, beaches, boating, casinos, children’s activities, fishing, golf, hiking, sightseeing, snow sports, theme parks, wineries, and more. Search results will display only the applicable options based on your criteria. These options replace the need for the previous “Show only resorts I can book” button.

Additional filters:

Easily toggle to see accessible suites in your search results.
For Presidential Reserve owners, when at least one Presidential Reserve resort is in the search results, you can choose seeing the Presidential Reserve suites or not.
Toggle between viewing Club Wyndham resorts and Club Pass resorts to view only one or view both simultaneously.

Embrace The Vacation Vibes

These new features cultivate your vacation experience, but how can you know what vibes to expect before booking? Use the Vacation Vibes filter — previously Experiences — to explore options like Beach Breakaway, City Expedition, Mountain Adventure, Family Vacation, Fun Over 21, Golf Getaway, Relaxing Retreat, and Parks & Rec. Let the vacation vibes roll!

New Saved Credit Cards During Booking

You can now save credit cards to your account. During the booking process, check the “Save this card to my account for future payments” box under the expiration date and zip code fields. This saves the card once you confirm the reservation. For future bookings, select the Credit Card option to see the My Cards section. You can save multiple cards and choose to use a saved card, add a new one, or enter card details without saving.

Each saved card shows the brand, last four digits, cardholder’s name, and expiration date. For security, full card numbers aren’t visible to anyone, including Vacation Guides. Be sure to enter all card details correctly. To update or delete saved cards, stay tuned for future updates.
